6th grade Social Studies is about people, places, and events from the past and developing skills to think as a historian, economist, geographer, and political scientist. These Social Studies skills help you to develop and use your critical-thinking skills. You will also be able to use a variety of primary and secondary source materials to explain and apply different methods that historians use to understand and interpret the past, including multiple points of view and historical context.
