When should you contact a school counselor?

If you see that your child is having difficulty at home, or at school with academic achievement, family changes, and social skills. It may be helpful to contact the school counselor.

Also, students may receive counseling services for the following reasons:

Talking about and dealing with feelings

Feeling sad, or lonely

Loss of a loved one

Listening to others

Have a problem with a friend

Bullying concerns

Academic Concerns

Study Skills

Social Skills

Just need someone to talk to
