Instructions
A solution contains one or more solutes dissolved in a solvent. The solvent is usually the more plentiful one. If we were talking about dissolving salt in water, salt will be the solute and water will be our solvent. Together, we have a salt-water solution.
Solute + Solvent = Solution
Solvation= notice how positively charged ion (Cation) interacts with the partially negative charge of the oxygen. Whereas, the negatively charged ion (anion) interacts with the partially positively charged hydrogen from water.
